Chairman of the Board and CEO of Groupe Savencia
French citizen, born in 1952, Alex Bongrain is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Groupe Savencia, a French family company founded more than 60 years ago in France.
After an education in engineering (Ecole des Mines) and finance (Wharton), he joined Groupe Savencia in 1980, holding various positions within the Group. He was appointed as a member of the Management Board in 1997, and of the Supervisory Board from 2001 to 2004, at which time he became President and CEO.
In addition, he was appointed Chairman of the Board in 2007.
