Getting Involved in E2E Value Chain - The Consumer Goods Forum

Our End-to-End Value Chain & Standards Pillar provides both practical and strategic value to our members. The value you will get depends on which of three possible types of engagement is right for you.

Type 1 – shape collaboration opportunities and shape the industry's agenda through working group & steering committee participation
Each of our 7 projects is driven by a working group of experts, drawn from a combination of retailer, manufacturers and relevant service providers. The E2EVC Steering Committee shapes, prioritises and oversees these projects.

Type 2 – accelerate implementation in your company by accessing thought leadership and global best practices
In several of our focus areas we have already developed toolkits to help companies accelerate their own adaptation to the industry’s emerging new business models. These include:

  • Consumer Engagement Principles Toolkit
  • Logistics collaboration case examples
  • Future Value Networks research and report
  • Educational Series - webinars and publications on relevant technology issues (e.g. Internet of Things, Blockchain)
Type 3 – build deep personal networks by participating in expert share groups
Our share groups bring together senior experts (e.g. heads of IT, digital business, supply chain) to share best practices in practical ways (e.g. visits to stores, plants, tech service providers and interactive workshops) and discuss any issues of common interest.
