Global CEOs from Alibaba, ICA Gruppen, Mars, Incorporated, SCA Group and Target Corporation Join The Consumer Goods Forum Board of Directors 
 
PARIS, 9th December 2016 – The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) has today announced the appointment of five additional CEOs to its Board of Directors. These appointments mean that the Board, which is responsible for the CGF’s strategy on behalf of its members, will benefit from additional experience spanning different segments of the industry and several corners of the globe. They bring the total number of Board members to 52. 
 
The new Board members are: 
Peter Freedman, Managing Director at the CGF said: “Our new Board members bring with them a breadth of expertise to The Consumer Goods Forum. At the CGF our work is pinned on collective action, and with this in mind, we’re proud to have some of the world’s most influential CEOs join us to represent the industry and drive change for the good of both people and the planet. As a CEO-led initiative, it’s important that we have an active and committed group on our Board, and these additions will undoubtedly help us on our journey towards ‘Better Lives Through Better Business’”.
 
The past year has seen the CGF’s board announce new resolutions such as its Refrigeration Resolution, set out to phase down HFCs and strive towards a more sustainable management of refrigeration systems; as well as its Forced Labour Resolution and Priority Industry Principles, aiming to eradicate forced labour from global supply chains.
