Mitigate today, innovate for tomorrow: Driving supply chain resilience
2027 Theme
The consumer goods industry is navigating an unprecedented tide of change. Climate pressures, shifting consumer expectations, and tightening regulations are accelerating, while geopolitical uncertainty and increasingly complex supply chains make it harder than ever to balance short-term resilience with long-term sustainable growth. The Consumer Goods Forum’s Sustainable Retail Summit is where leaders come together to turn these challenges into opportunities.
In today’s world, innovation is not optional — it is essential. But ideas alone are not enough. Our industry must transform bold thinking into scalable solutions that deliver measurable benefits for both people and the planet.
SRS will shine a spotlight on how leaders can move beyond pilots and pledges toward real impact — reshaping supply chains, strengthening communities, and protecting ecosystems. Speakers will share strategic insights and practical tools you can take back to your organisation to drive meaningful change.
More than a conference, the Sustainable Retail Summit is a platform for decisive, collaborative action — focused on turning innovation into lasting impact.
Key themes to be explored:
- Leadership and resilience: sharing leadership insights on driving resilience, and embedding sustainability and health into corporate DNA.
- Technology, AI, and digital tools for sustainability: how AI and digital tools are helping companies make faster, smarter sustainability decisions.
- Sustainable sourcing and supply chains: building more resilient, responsible supply chains from farm to shelf.
- Finance and business integration: building the financial case for people- and nature-positive transitions and organisational transformation.
- Retail operations, logistics, and sustainable transformation: embedding sustainability into everyday retail and logistics operations.
- Decarbonisation and climate action: turning climate ambition into credible, measurable action across business.
- Circularity, packaging and waste reduction: rethinking packaging and food waste to support a truly circular economy.
- Scope 3 emissions and data collaboration: closing persistent emissions data gaps through cross-industry collaboration.
- Human rights and Forest Positive agendas: strengthening human rights and forest protection across global supply chains, and exploring predictive AI to flag risks in supply networks.
- The latest on health and consumers: how emerging health trends are reshaping consumer behaviour.
- Responsible consumption and consumer engagement: encouraging healthier, more sustainable choices while building lasting consumer trust.
- Measurement and reporting: what credible, decision-ready sustainability reporting looks like today.
- Non-food perspectives: how sustainability priorities are playing out across sectors beyond food and beverage.
