CGF’s Social Sustainability Director, Didier Bergeret, has been invited to speak at the event organised by the Government of Argentina in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO). Didier will be speaking as part of panel discussion entitled “Supply Chains: Getting on top of complexity” on the first day of the conference.

The IV Global Conference has as its main objective to contribute further to consolidating global commitment to accelerate the elimination of child labour, securing its end by 2025, as outlined in Target 8.7 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The international event will be attended by over 1,500 representatives of governments, employers and workers from around the world. During the three days, delegates will participate in technical discussions and exchange experiences and good practices around nine central topics, including child labour in rural economies and in crisis situations – such as natural disasters and conflicts-, and how to prevent child labour in supply chains.
