In April 2021, members of The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) joined forces to launch the ‘United for A Healthier Future’ Collaboration for Healthier Lives (CHL) initiative in Russia, as part of the global movement to empower people in communities across the globe to live healthier lives.
The initiative’s 3 focus areas under which the CGF members driving the initiative will launch regular awareness and engagement-building projects are:
The initiative’s educational projects will be aimed at encouraging people’s interest in living healthier lifestyles, implementing balanced diets, as well as improving awareness on how they can help protect the environment through their choices.
CHL Russia will also draw consumers’ attention to healthier products with projects that aim to increase the availability of goods with lower sugar, salt, and fat content, and support giving up smoking, as well as encouraging consumers to take care of themselves bodies, their homes, and their pets. Sustainable consumption is a key area of focus for the initiative, which will be tackled through the promotion of eco-packaging and reduction of food waste.
