Parts 8-9 of the End-to-End Value Chain (E2E) Management Cybernetics learning series has been published by The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) in collaboration with Dr. Boysen Management + Consulting. This follows the launch of parts 1-7 of the learning series paper in January, February and March. Cybernetics is a transdisciplinary approach to explore regulatory systems, their structures, constraints, and possibilities. The learning series paper aims to help influential people within management roles reach better decisions in our dynamic business world.

Part 8 of the learning series focuses on strategies for coping with dynamic complexity. Organisations are operating in increasingly dynamic-complex environments and as a consequence, decisions taken often do not lead to desired results. In this section, readers will learn about dynamic complexity relevant to the management of organisations and will benefit from the set of practical rules on how to cope with complexity and acknowledge it as an opportunity.

Part 9 aims to share the best-practice leadership in cybernetics organisations. VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) environments imply a change in leadership style and this section highlights the different requirements concerning leadership under ‘VUCA conditions’ and provides readers with practical recommendations for successful leadership.

The publication of parts 8-9 marks the fourth in an exciting six segment launch leading up to June 2020.
