On 30 May, 38 leaders from retail, manufacturing, public health and NGOs gathered in London to take part in the ‘Accelerated Solutions Environment’ (ASE) workshop, hosted by CGF member Capgemini and organised by the CGF Health & Wellness team, in collaboration with the Behavioural Insights Team, the Food Foundation, the NHS and Jamie Oliver, amongst others. The aim of the meeting was to align on the direction the UK edition of the CGF’s Health & Wellness flagship initiative ‘Collaboration for Healthier Lives’ will follow.
Co-chairs of the UK initiative Judith Robinson, Tesco and Isabelle Grosmaitre, Danone introduced the ambition and objectives of the event, while representatives from Public Health England and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ charity presented findings from their research on the health landscape in Lambeth and Southwark, the target areas for this
initiative. Participants were then asked to familiarise themselves with five different personas and reflect on their behaviours, with the objective of identifying consumers’ needs and concerns when it comes to health choices.
The event saw fruitful discussions take place among the different groups and the focus of the initiative was identified. To find out more, please see the Executive Summary (password Lat0yaLivingHealthy).
