Search On March 12th, Thomas van Haaren, Senior Manager, Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative, spoke on a panel discussion during an online event jointly hosted by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Initiative for Compliance and Sustainability (ICS). The aim of the event was to provide participants with the opportunity to discuss the main issues at stake in the area of compliance and sustainability, due diligence, and cross-cutting challenges for transparency in global value chains.
Thomas spoke on a panel entitled “Multi-stakeholders Partnerships: From Coordination to Implementation” alongside representatives from IndustriAll, ID Kids, Maisons du Monde, and Université Paris Dauphine. Panelists presented their respective projects and agreed that better coordination is the key to drive success, so as to avoid duplication of efforts which ultimately slows down progress.
