Public consultation: environmental review of Florverde® Sustainable Flowers now open
PARIS, 03 June 2026 – The Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative (SSCI) is pleased to announce the opening of a public stakeholder consultation for Florverde® Sustainable Flowers (FSF). Following its successful recognition under SSCI’s social criteria in 2024, the Colombian-based floral standard is now the first to undergo our environmental benchmarking process.
Today, more than 10,600 hectares in Colombia and Ecuador are certified under FSF, with over 107,700 farm workers benefiting annually from FSF-certified operations.
From 03 June to 03 July 2026, we invite all stakeholders with an interest in sustainable supply chains and horticulture production to review and provide feedback on FSF’s benchmarking assessment.
Why this step matters: The public consultation allows for industry-wide transparency and is a critical stage in the SSCI benchmarking process. For sourcing professionals and buyers within the consumer goods industry, this process ensures that the sustainability schemes they rely on are impactful and fit for purpose.
How to get involved:
- Fill in the form below to receive the FSF benchmarking report.
- Email your feedback and comments to the SSCI team by 03 July 2026.
