Leadership and Continuous Development
Mainstreaming and embedding respect for human rights through smart HRDD system, leading to more resilient, sustainable, and responsible businesses.
50 million people remain trapped in modern slavery worldwide, with 86% in the private sector generating over USD 230 billion in illegal profits each year.
Despite legal prohibitions, these abuses persist across regions and economies, often hidden deep in supply chains. As regulatory demands and stakeholder expectations grow, robust human rights due diligence is no longer optional — it’s a moral, legal, and business imperative.
Since its launch in 2020, the Coalition has brought together consumer goods companies united by a mission: to eradicate forced labour and embed human rights due diligence (HRDD) in their individual business operations. The Coalition’s members represent an estimated $1.7 trillion in combined annual revenue and supply chains that reach millions of suppliers and workers worldwide. The Coalition, like the CGF as a whole, exists to serve companies of all sizes, from manufacturers to retailers, at different points in the value chain and at varying levels of maturity in HRDD.
