Globally, enabling people to live healthier lives

Reducing the trillion-dollar burden of non-communicable diseases

In 2022 alone, 2.5 billion adults were overweight, and nearly 900 million were living with obesity. At the same time, food systems generate about one-third of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions — which means consumer dietary choices play a crucial role in tackling climate change.

A supportive work environment is essential—not only for physical and mental wellbeing, but also for productivity and long-term business performance. Poor working conditions undermine both individual health and company results. Thus, the physical and mental health of more than 10 million employees across CGF member companies remains a critical priority, as healthy and engaged employees are the foundation of every responsible business.

Equipping retailers and manufactures with practical tools and insights

From chef-tested recipes and in-store/digital activations to practical case studies, members collaborate to improve the visibility, affordability and desirability of healthier options — a proven strategy that supports sales and strengthen brand loyalty. Through our partnership with the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) we also help companies enhance the wellbeing of their own employees.
