• Forest Positive

Working to advance deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains.

Why business needs to act on forest loss

Each year, over 11 million hectares of forest are cleared, much of it for soy, beef, palm oil, and paper. These forests regulate rainfall, support biodiversity, and sustain the livelihoods of 1.6 billion people.

Deforestation and conversion drive real business risks: disrupted sourcing, tightening regulation, and rising pressure from investors and consumers. Addressing deforestation is a core business concern for the consumer goods industry.

Creating Forest Positive supply chains

The Forest Positive Coalition provides a framework for retailers and manufacturers to advance deforestation- and conversion-free supply chains through aligned methodologies, transparent reporting and practical action in key production landscapes.
