Food Waste Coalition Welcomes Six New Members: Auchan, Costco, Grupo IFA, Loblaw Companies Limited, Spinneys Dubai, and Tyson Foods

In 2021 The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Food Waste Coalition has been pleased to welcome six new members: Auchan, Costco, Grupo IFA, Loblaw Companies Limited, Spinneys Dubai, and Tyson Foods. The addition of these six members brings the Coalition’s membership to 23 CGF members committed to driving accelerated, collective action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12.3.

The full list of Coalition members are: Ahold Delhaize, Auchan, Barilla, Bel Group, Costco, General Mills, Grupo Bimbo, Grupo IFA, The Kellogg Company, Loblaw Companies Limited, Magnit, Majid Al Futtaim, McCain Foods, Merck Animal Health, METRO AG, Migros, Nestlé, Sainsbury’s, Spinneys Dubai, Tesco, Tyson, Unilever, Walmart.

The Coalition of Action on Food Waste was founded in 2020 to contribute to the UN goal of halving per capita global food loss and waste. With its explicit CEO engagement, action-oriented commitments and passion for accelerating sustainable change on a global level, the Coalition is a leader in the effort to reduce food loss in members’ own operations and supply chains worldwide by driving action on key issues such as public reporting, wider supply chain engagement, post-harvest losses and regional challenges.
