Henkel Joins the Climate Transition Coalition of Action

The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is pleased to announce that Henkel has joined its Climate Transition Coalition of Action, bringing the total number of member companies to 30. Henkel’s addition further strengthens the Coalition’s collective ambition to drive climate action across the consumer goods industry.

The Climate Transition Coalition brings together leading manufacturers and retailers to accelerate meaningful progress on the sector’s climate journey. The Coalition’s ambition is to drive both emissions reduction and climate risk mitigation, recognising that cutting greenhouse gas emissions must go hand in hand with building resilience and supporting adaptation, particularly across complex, global supply chains.

“We at Henkel AG are delighted to join the CGF’s Climate Transition Coalition as a manufacturer member. We hope to contribute to the collective progress on meaningful climate action with our experience in cross-sector collaborations, data governance and transparency in our consumer goods business.”

Ulrike Sapiro, CSO, Henkel

As part of the Coalition, Henkel will collaborate with peer companies to share knowledge, develop tools, and support data-driven action. The Coalition helps members make practical progress on emissions measurement, reporting, and reduction, while strengthening their ability to adapt to the evolving climate landscape.
