The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is pleased to announce that Sysco has joined its Climate Transition Coalition of Action, the latest company to join a collaboration to accelerate sustainable practices across the consumer goods sector.
The Coalition brings together leading companies committed to advancing the industry’s climate ambitions. It focuses on reducing greenhouse gas emissions while helping businesses better understand and manage climate-related risks, recognising that meaningful progress requires both mitigation and stronger resilience across global supply chains.
Through its membership, Sysco will collaborate with other Coalition members to exchange best practices, develop practical tools, and implement data-driven approaches to climate action.
Sharon Bligh, Director, Health and Sustainability, The Consumer Goods Forum, said:
“We’re really pleased to welcome companies like Sysco who are seeking a practical space to tackle Scope 3 challenges. Collaboration of this kind is key to unlocking scalable solutions and accelerating progress across global supply chains.”
Megan Stoffer, Director, Sustainability, Sysco, said:
“At Sysco, we know that strengthening supply chain resilience and addressing climate risk requires collaboration. We’re excited to partner with Coalition members to advance practical solutions that build resilience and help secure a more sustainable future for food.”
We look forward to collaborating closely with Sysco and are confident that their engagement will help drive meaningful action toward a more sustainable future.
