Plastic Waste Coalition Welcomes New Member: Flora Food Group

The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) Plastic Waste Coalition is pleased to welcome a new member, Flora Food Group, bringing the Coalition’s membership to 40 CGF members committed to driving progress towards realising a low-waste, circular economy.

Karina Cerdeira, Head of Packaging and Artwork at Flora Food Group said: “At Flora Food Group, we have led the way in circular packaging solutions. We are driven to innovate, test and launch packaging with less plastic and a strong focus on recyclability. Joining forces with Consumer Goods Forum is a key partnership, part of our strategy to enable effective recycling and to achieve the ultimate goal of a circular economy.”

Flora Food Group’s Work on Plastic Packaging:

Flora Food Group is working to champion circular solutions, and to further reduce the environmental impact of its packaging. The company has invested in new innovations, like a first-of-its-kind paper pack for its spreads. The company’s packaging is designed for recyclability, and looks forward to working with The Consumer Goods Forum to promote higher recycling rates across the board. At the same time, the company has a focus on increasing reusable and compostable packaging solutions.
