The Good Food Institute is a non-profit committed to advancing the development of alternative proteins. Using plant-based meat, cultured meat, and fermentation, it is possible to lessen the environmental impact of our food system, lower the danger of zoonotic sickness, and feed more people with fewer resources. In its effort to accelerate alternative proteins, the GFI sponsors research, advocates for policy change, and supports industry players by facilitating connections and educating on the alternative proteins landscape. The GFI’s Alternative Protein Solutions Database includes a comprehensive list of research and infrastructure industry challenges that companies can explore to advance alternatives proteins.
