IKEA’s programme for helping direct suppliers secure renewable electricity will assist approximately 1,600 businesses in procuring 100% renewable electricity using bundled framework agreements and Power Purchase Agreements. A rollout to suppliers in Poland, India, and China is estimated to avoid emissions equal to 3% of IKEA’s total carbon footprint.
