Opella joins Climate Transition and Healthier Lives Coalitions of Action

The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is pleased to announce that Opella has joined its Climate Transition and Healthier Lives Coalitions. A global leader in consumer healthcare, Opella will contribute to industry efforts to advance climate action and healthier lives, helping drive progress on some of the most pressing challenges facing both people and the planet.

Opella joins the CGF as a member following its recent achievement of global B Corp certification. This milestone reflects a multi-year transformation across its operations, embedding sustainability, transparency and social impact at the core of its business model.

Advancing on emissions reduction and healthier lives

Opella’s participation in the Climate Transition Coalition comes as the company continues to advance its environmental goals, including significant reductions in operational emissions and a long-term goal of reaching net-zero by 2050.

In parallel, its involvement in the Healthier Lives Coalition aligns with its core mission to enable consumers to take action on their health through responsible self-care. Opella brings both expertise and scale to the coalition’s efforts to improve health outcomes and promote healthier lifestyles.

“Navigating health and environmental challenges requires shared learning and collective action. By joining the Climate Transition and Healthier Lives Coalitions of Action, we aim to advance progress towards a low-carbon future while making self-care as simple as it should be. Engaging alongside industry peers helps us tackle these complex demands, supporting growth and helping people better understand their health to act with confidence.”

—Marissa Saretsky, Chief Sustainability Officer, Opella

“We are delighted to welcome Opella to the CGF. Their leadership in sustainability and focus on enabling healthier lives make them a valuable addition to our community.”

—Sharon Bligh, Health and Sustainability Director, The Consumer Goods Forum
