Member/implementing partners:
  • Soft Commodities Forum (SCF)

The Forest Positive Coalition has engaged in an open dialogue with the Soft Commodities Forum (SCF), a global platform for food and agribusiness companies which has key soy traders among its membership. Objectives of the dialogue include consulting traders on the feasibility of implementing DCF parameters as they work towards DCF supply chains, and working together to collectively support landscape initiatives. Consulting upstream players is vital to achieve the supply chain transformation necessary for forest positive soy.

For example, in 2022, the Coalition and SCF worked together to align on a common monitoring and evaluation framework to measure and report the impact of landscape interventions and map shared municipalities of current focus. You can read more here. In addition, the Coalition has joined the Landscape Council, a centralised platform with SCF and common implementing partners to drive future collaboration and joint investment in production landscapes in the future.
