After a successful presential Summit in 2022 in Dublin, we will be happy to welcome again our valued delegates in-person, from all over the world, in Kyoto, Japan, 6th-9th June 2023 for the 66th Global Summit.
Get ready to engage with hundreds of fellow CEOs and C-Suite executives from across the CGF membership and connect with both old and new friends and business partners.
We have made the decision to hold the 2023 Global Summit as a fully in-person event in June in Kyoto. We are moving full speed ahead in the development of an extraordinary event to support the industry in these extraordinary times. The Global Summit will take place solely as an in-person event, and will not have a virtual component other than the networking app used by delegates during the Summit.
In the event that new regulations are enacted that prohibit the physical event from taking place, we are confident that we could replicate the success of the 2021 virtual edition. In the advent of such an extreme and isolated scenario, the Global Summit would be virtual.
We are fully committed to ensuring the safety and health of our delegates, sponsors and suppliers present at the Summit in Kyoto. Should Covid measures still be in place in June 2023, we will adhere to recommended cautionary protocols and guidelines from leading health organisations and national authorities, and adjust precautionary measures as necessary to ensure the health and safety of our event attendees and staff.
A programme will be available in the next few months.
It will be composed of topics and a speakers line-up with the same level of quality, engagement and expertise as all our previous editions. Adding to the unmissable Plenary Sessions, delegates will have access to Special Sessions, Breakouts, I-Talks, and much more.
Please plan to arrive on time for the Store Tour on the first day, to experience first-hand the fascinating Japan retail scene in a full day of visits to the most relevant players.
The Summit 2023 will also showcase the much-loved I-Zone, offering you direct access to the latest innovations from our industry, and many networking opportunities to reconnect with your peers from the industry – refreshment breaks, lunches, and official dinners and evenings.

The Global Summit is exclusive to CEOs and senior executives from CGF member companies. If you are unsure about your company’s membership, you can check our members list or contact our membership team.

We are confident that the 2023 edition will follow the success of the 2022 edition in Dublin, welcoming our industry’s CEOs in a physical Summit, respecting all health and sanitary measures in place at the time.
An emailing with key highlights will be sent to delegates at the end of each day.
An Executive Summary will be distributed electronically after the event to all delegates, with the main takeaways and insights.
Presentations and recordings may be available to 2023 Summit delegates, when authorised by speakers.

The Global Summit speaker line-up is carefully selected by the Summit Committee among a wide range of CEOs from FMCG and other relevant industries. There are no sponsored speaking opportunities for Plenary Sessions. If you’d like to suggest a speaker, please write to the Global Summit team.

This year we are limiting the Partner tickets to 30 due to limitations with the venue. This ticket includes all sessions and the Gala Dinner. Registration fees do not include travel or accommodation.
