Following on from the success of our first-ever virtual Global Summit, we are delighted to announce that the 2022 edition will bring back the same great CEO-led content, but we will also be bringing back in-person networking, discussions and meetings. That’s right, the Global Summit – the exclusive event for CEOs and senior executives from across the CGF membership – is getting back to physical!
It will have been two years since our last physical version of the event and how the world has changed in this time. But, beyond COVID-19, we hope that come June 2022 we will still be inspired by discussions at COP26 and will be able to showcase how our industry has begun to implement positive change and deliver impact at scale. The 2022 event will be about asking the tough questions, hearing from our stakeholders and highlighting the way forward through concrete actions and results.
We’ve already seen some great actions from our Coalitions of Action this year, like the first-ever Forest Positive Coalition annual report, the launch of the full-suite of Golden Design Rules from the Plastic Waste Coalition and via the 160 organisations around the world working together on Collaboration for Healthier Lives. There’s much more to be done though.
That is why we are thrilled to host this exclusive community again in Europe, where you can meet face-to-face with your peers and explore all the topics that are front-and-centre of a CEO’s mind. Never has it been more important for our industry to step-up to the challenges associated with climate change, data and health, and we know from experience that there is no better venue than the one hosting the Global Summit to talk, engage and plan for the future.
