Lotus Bakeries joins the Climate Transition Coalition of Action
The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is delighted to welcome Lotus as its newest member of the Climate Transition Coalition of Action.
The Coalition brings together consumer goods companies to support progress on the sector’s climate journey. Its ambition is to help drive both emissions reduction and climate risk mitigation, recognising that cutting greenhouse gas emissions must go hand in hand with building resilience and supporting adaptation, particularly across complex, global supply chains.
As a member, Lotus Bakeries will work alongside their peers to share best practices, develop tools, and support data-driven action. The Coalition helps members make concrete progress on emissions measurement, reporting, and reduction, while also building their capacity to adapt to climate risks in their operations and value chains.
“We are delighted to welcome Lotus Bakeries to the Climate Transition Coalition of Action. Their commitment to advancing climate action across their value chain reflects the kind of leadership needed to drive meaningful change at scale. By working collaboratively with peers, sharing knowledge, and accelerating data-driven solutions, we can collectively strengthen both emissions reduction efforts and climate resilience across the consumer goods sector.”
— Sharon Bligh, Director, Health and Sustainability, The Consumer Goods Forum
“We are pleased to join the Climate Transition Coalition and work with peers and retail partners to share insights, learn together and turn collective ambition into real decarbonisation across the value chain.”
— Jan Boone, CEO, Lotus Bakeries
We are excited about the collaboration ahead and confident that Lotus Bakeries’ participation will help drive forward the shared goal of a more sustainable, net-zero future.
