New Plastics Economy Global Commitment

The New Plastics Economy Global commitment focuses on orchestrating pledges from major plastics producers to reduce their environmental impact. Led by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in collaboration with UNEP, over 1,000 companies representing more than 20% of all plastic packaging produced globally have committed to 2025 circular economy targets. Members include but are not limited to L’Oréal, MARS, Nestlé, PepsiCo, Walmart, Target, and Carrefour.
