The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) and its Food Waste Coalition of Action are pleased to share a new tool designed for CGF members to easily access a database of third party food donation technologies and solutions available in different global regions, housed on the CGF members’ space.
Members can filter technologies by country, services (e.g. B2B, data analytics, delivery vs pick up, partnerships with non-profits, imperfect produce, surplus food donation or redistribution, discounted sales), technology (e.g. digital platform and/or mobile app), and read a short description of each technology solution. By clicking on the solution, members will be automatically redirected to the company website to find out more.
While currently focused on food donations, the tool will soon be expanded to list other technology solutions available in the market, which can help members combat food waste in their operations.
The database is intended to be a living resource that CGF members and stakeholders can help to populate. Please reach out to the CGF team at environmental@theconsumergoodsforum.com should you wish to contribute information on technology providers that are not yet included in the database.
