Search The Board of the World Egg Organisation announced that as part of their commitment to social sustainability they are adopting The Consumer Goods Forum’s Resolution on Forced Labour at their recent Conference of international egg industry leaders held in London during April.
In the same month, the latest participants of the industry’s Young Egg Leaders (YEL) programme which consists of the next generation of high performing international leaders, travelled to Paris to meet with the Consumer Goods Forum and the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE).
The YEL group, members of which will ultimately be responsible for carrying the global egg industry forward, discussed with CGF directors Didier Bergeret and Ignacio Gavilan the challenges and opportunities around social and environmental topics where the egg sector can introduce positive change.
