This case study explores the 2019 launch of The Body Shop’s refill scheme in two stores and the plans to expand the programme to 500 across the globe by the end of 2022. Through the initiative, consumers are able to refill some of The Body Shop’s products in store using reusable aluminium bottles, with the programme complementing the company’s Return, Recycle, Repeat scheme.
