Now in its second edition, the event will bring together representatives from a variety of sector initiatives to participate in open exchange on practices, tools, challenges and solutions as well as important policy developments. Didier specifically will be speaking during Part 1 of the event, Solutions to Existing Challenges, where he will share key insights on CGF’s initiatives to combat forced labour in global supply chains, showcasing how companies can meaningfully engage. These initiatives include the industry’s first-ever commitment to eradicate forced labour and the recently announced Priority Industry Principles – three principles that when applied on a broad scale may help stop cases that lead to forced labour.

CGF’s Social Sustainability Director, Didier Bergeret, will be speaking at CSR Europe’s Responsible Sourcing across Industries (RSaI), 2nd meeting – Solutions to common challenges this Wednesday, 18th January.

In order to have the greatest positive impact in our common fight against forced labour, multi-stakeholder engagement and dialogue, as is done during RSal meetings and within the CSR Europe platform at large, are essential. We at the CGF welcome these types of opportunities and encourage other industry bodies to continue their involvement as well.
