2017-social-webinar-clearview-iris-cgfThe Consumer Goods Forum’s Social Sustainability Team is pleased to invite you to a webinar on ethical recruitment in supply chains, taking place on Friday 10th November at 3pm CET, 9am EST. The webinar will be presented by David Camp on behalf of Clearview and The Association of Labour Providers (ALP) and Pawel Szalus on behalf of the International Recruitment Integrity System (IRIS) and International Organization for Migration.

The webinar will provide a brief introduction to CGF’s work on forced labour, including the Social Resolution on Forced Labour and the Priority Industry Principles. Building on the Principle: “No Worker Should Pay for a Job”, this webinar will provide listeners with an overview of the ethical recruitment landscape and the speakers will introduce their different initiatives, giving insight into their projects, tools and strategies and explain how they work together and alongside businesses.

Clearview is a global social compliance certification scheme for labour providers. The certification enables labour providers to demonstrate to existing and potential clients that they operate responsibly, professionally, legally and ethically in their sourcing and supply of workers.

IRIS is a voluntary multi-stakeholder certification system for labour recruiters developed to support ethical recruitment of migrant workers. It is comprised of an international standard, certification scheme and a compliance and monitoring mechanism. For businesses and migrant workers, IRIS serves as a due diligence tool for the assessment of labour recruiters.

The webinar will close with a Q&A session during which attendees are encouraged to participate. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to gain insights from key players in the field of ethical recruitment and learn about how your company can get involved with their initiatives.
