Members of our Board of Directors take responsibility to sponsor our coalitions and Healthier Lives is currently co-sponsored at the Board level by Nestlé, Brian McNamara, CEO of Haleon and Frans Muller, President & CEO of Ahold Delhaize. As Board sponsors they actively drive and support the work of the Coalition members and present the team’s progress to their peers during our bi-annual Board of Directors meetings.
The Coalition Committee provides the strategic direction and oversees the daily management of the CGF’s health and wellbeing activities. The Committee is currently co-chaired by Oonagh Turnbull, Head of Health and Sustainable Diet Campaigns, Strategy and Campaigns, Group Communications, Tesco and Ayla Ziz, SVP Global Sales – Chief Customer Officer at Danone.
The Committee has the mission of scoping and categorising existing momentum on health and wellbeing. It also aims to develop collaborative industry actions between retailers and manufacturers, as well as public-private partnerships, such as those with NGOs and public health authorities, to better promote health and wellness to people around the world.
