The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) is pleased to welcome global snacking company pladis as the newest member of its Healthier Lives Coalition of Action. This brings the Coalition’s membership to 38 member companies, whose mission is to enable people, globally, to live healthier lives.

The Coalition is co-sponsored by the CEOs of Ahold Delhaize and Haleon. In addition, the Coalition is co-chaired by industry leaders, Oonagh Turnbull of Tesco, and Ayla Ziz of Danone.

In a world facing growing health challenges, the Coalition aims to equip retailers and manufactures with practical tools and insights so they can design and implement initiatives that make healthier living easier for their consumers and employees.

Jennifer Moss, Chief R&D Officer at pladis said, “At pladis, we believe we can help make healthier choices easier for the millions who enjoy our products. You can see it in our work to reduce sugar, salt and saturated fat and adding fibre, while continuing to deliver the delicious snacks people love. Joining the Consumer Goods Forum’s Healthier Lives Coalition is a natural extension of this commitment, aligning us with a global effort to improve access to better options and inspire healthier everyday behaviours in communities around the world“.

Sharon Bligh, Health and Sustainability Director at The Consumer Goods Forum said, “We are delighted to welcome pladis to the Healthier Lives Coalition of Action. At a time when health challenges are growing in complexity, the Coalition provides a platform for retailers and manufacturers to move from intent to impact — sharing practical tools, evidence-based guidance, and real-world examples that help drive progress for consumers, employees, and communities. We look forward to working with pladis as part of this joint effort.”
