Dear members of the Food Waste Coalition of Action,

Following the success of our Food Waste Commitments and Achievements Case Study Booklet which was relaunched in 2020, we will be producing a companion booklet which will showcase Coalition members’ examples of positive supplier engagement to reduce upstream food loss and waste. We are offering the opportunity for companies to share best practices/case studies/reflections to feature in the booklet, which will be published this summer.

The aim of this booklet is to make the business case to the rest of the industry for why it is important to tackle this issue and inspire more action.

Please answer the questions below, provide a supporting quote from your Sustainability or Food Waste lead driving action on upstream food loss and waste in your business, and include their image. You may also provide a banner image for your contribution. For each image, we kindly ask you to provide captions and copyright information.

Your participation is encouraged but remains optional. Please submit one contribution per company.

PROMPT: How are you engaging and what are the benefits of working with suppliers on upstream food loss and waste?
WORD COUNT: Max 1125 words

DEADLINE: Contributions are requested before 28th April 2023. For any questions, please get in touch with Rosemary Brotchie at r.brotchie@theconsumergoodsforum
