Our Data-Driven Value Chain projects will enable the industry to enhance consumer trust at a time when societal trends and digital media are driving demand for greater transparency. They will also simplify product listing processes, reduce time-to-market and address key focus areas such as data integration, sustainability and consumer engagement.
We currently offer comprehensive solutions including GTIN management and QR code implementation with GS1 standards, ensuring a smooth transition to QR codes for Sunrise 2027 to improve consumer engagement and product traceability. We have also simplified data integration with our pioneering data reporting models, TrueCode, DataPorts and now Fractals, which leverages AI to generate automated and confidential data reports.
We are developing a comprehensive framework to support companies in exchanging emissions data for Scope (1, 2 and 3), taking into account industry-specific variations. Through collaborative workshops and webinars, we are defining minimum ESG best practices, establishing a shared understanding of sustainability data taxonomy, service provider capabilities and the evolving regulatory environment.
The overarching mission of the DDVC is to accelerate the responsible adoption of AI within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
Recognising the strong industry demand for practical, real-world knowledge sharing, the Data-Driven Value Chain is fostering peer-to-peer learning to encourage broader, more informed AI adoption. This demystifies AI, accelerates progress and reduces duplicated efforts.
How?
The DDVC has launched 30-minute deep-dive webinars on ‘Real AI Use Cases’.
During these sessions:
Manufacturers, retailers, and service providers share their roadblocks, lessons learned, and breakthroughs. Stories are presented candidly, with the option of anonymity, to facilitate open, pre-competitive learning. Topics covered include AI in sustainability, material innovation and compliance challenges (e.g. EUDR).
To participate in these sessions:
You must be a member of the DDVC Committee or be recommended by one of our members.
In a groundbreaking move, industry leaders are uniting to test a revolutionary new technology called Fractals.
